New Track & Video from CITIZENS!
Last October I posted a debut track called, “True Romance” from London’s indie-pop band, Citizens. The track was featured on Glitoris Radio 10.24.11.
On March 19th, the band will officially release their 2nd single, “Reptile” via Kitsuné Records. After hearing this track, I’m officially a big fan of Citizens. The group has a really fun catchy sound, and their upcoming debut album is produced by Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand.
Look out for that release later this year. I think these guys are gonna be big!
New Video from Who Made Who!
Danish disco punk band, Who Made Who just released the video for, “Inside World”, the first single off their new album “Brighter”, due out February 27th. Who Made Who, played at our SXSW showcase last year and they are amazing as a live set! Especially, the guitars & bass!

Traveling
by TennisNew music from TENNIS!
Tennis has me jonesing for Summer. Hell, I’d even take Spring— I just want cold beer, white beach, and sun rays. Tennis, are Denver-based Patrick Riley, Alaina Moore, & James Barone. Isn’t weird that Tennis is Denver based? I would have imagined San Diego or SanFrannnnnn.
Their new album, entitled, ‘Young & Old’ is out on February 14th (along with a lot of other great albums). Stream my favorite track from this release called, “Traveling”.
The track was recently featured in Glitoris Radio 1.23.12.
I Can't Stay
by Ben BrowningCut Copy solo project from, Ben Browning!
Cut Copy’s bass guitarist, Ben Browning recently released his first solo track, “I Can’t Stay”. The song was featured in one of our Glitoris Radio’s earlier this month.
Before beginning Cut Copy’s most recent album, Zonoscope (which was nominated for a Grammy), Ben Browning began penning tracks for a solo release.
Featured above, is the first single which comes with two remixes by, Knightlife and DFA’s Juan Maclean. For this particular track, Architecture In Helsinki’s, Gus Franklin and Haima Marriott were enlisted to add production and shimmer. Also, Cut Copy’s own Dan Whitford reached into his collection of vintage synths to provide keyboard programming.
New Video from, @JesseRuins!
Jesse Ruins, is a Tokyo-based group, which formed in the Spring of 2010 by Nobuyuki Sakuma, as a solo project.
In December 2011, Nah joined the band and they shortly thereafter signed to Captured Tracks Records. ‘Dream Analysis’, is their second release on the label.
The six song EP is a romantic atmospheric haze, just like this video.
One by One
by The Ting Tingsfrom Sounds from Nowheresville
Brand New Music from The Ting Tings!
‘Sounds from Nowheresville’, is the second album from The Ting Tings to be release February 27th, 2012 in the UK, and in early March in the United States.
The band revealed that they had scrapped a whole album before moving to Spain to record their new album. I feel bad for them, because this album is not that great. Not that I was expecting anything, but most of their tracks will need to be remixed cc: Calvin Harris, Cut Copy, Bag Raiders, The Magician, Aeroplane etc etc
New video from, @BandYoungLiars!
Young Liars, are Vancouver’s Jordan Raine, Tyler Badali, Andrew Beck, Angelo Ismirnioglou, & Wesley Nickel. I feel dirty for putting up a lyric video… it’s so Cee-lo Green of me, but you already knew I liked this song.
Plus this track, “Colours” sounds like early Phoenix, so if it’s another way to get you to like this song too, then lyric video it is!
Brand New Music Video from, We Have Band!
This is the leading single and official video for London’s, We Have Band. The new track “Where Are Your People?”, is off their second full-length album, “Ternion”, due out January 29th via Naive Records.
The video was directed by Alex Turvey.
