Baby's On Fire Die Antwoord

New music from, Die Antwoord!

“Baby’s On Fire” is one of my favorite tracks off, ‘Ten$ion’, Die Antwoord’s forth-coming sophomore album. Die Antwoord (Afrikaans for “The Answer”) is a hip hop group from Cape Town, South Africa, consisting of three members: Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er and DJ Hi-Tek.

Their new album samples a ton of lyrics from old school 80’s and hip hop American hits. Other notable tracks from the album include, “You make a Ninja wanna f*ck”, “Fok Julle Naaiers”, & the “Uncle Jimmy” skit; Ten$ion is due out February 7th, 2012.

Traveling Tennis

New music from TENNIS!

Tennis has me jonesing for Summer. Hell, I’d even take Spring— I just want cold beer, white beach, and sun rays. Tennis, are Denver-based Patrick Riley, Alaina Moore, & James Barone. Isn’t weird that Tennis is Denver based? I would have imagined San Diego or SanFrannnnnn.

Their new album, entitled, ‘Young & Old’ is out on February 14th (along with a lot of other great albums). Stream my favorite track from this release called, “Traveling”.

The track was recently featured in Glitoris Radio 1.23.12.

I Can't Stay Ben Browning

Cut Copy solo project from, Ben Browning!

Cut Copy’s bass guitarist, Ben Browning recently released his first solo track, “I Can’t Stay”. The song was featured in one of our Glitoris Radio’s earlier this month.

Before beginning Cut Copy’s most recent album, Zonoscope (which was nominated for a Grammy), Ben Browning began penning tracks for a solo release.

Featured above, is the first single which comes with two remixes by, Knightlife and DFA’s Juan Maclean. For this particular track, Architecture In Helsinki’s, Gus Franklin and Haima Marriott were enlisted to add production and shimmer. Also, Cut Copy’s own Dan Whitford reached into his collection of vintage synths to provide keyboard programming.

One by One The Ting Tings

Brand New Music from The Ting Tings!

‘Sounds from Nowheresville’, is the second album from The Ting Tings to be release February 27th, 2012 in the UK, and in early March in the United States.

The band revealed that they had scrapped a whole album before moving to Spain to record their new album. I feel bad for them, because this album is not that great. Not that I was expecting anything, but most of their tracks will need to be remixed cc: Calvin Harris, Cut Copy, Bag Raiders, The Magician, Aeroplane etc etc

Pussy Bill Khia

New Music from Khia!

‘Motor Mouf a.k.a. Khia Shamone’, is the 4th studio album out later this year by Khia Shamone Finch.

Mizz Finch, better known just as ‘Khia’, is an American rapper, songwriter, singer, and record producer better known for her hit, “My Neck, My Back”.

Her brand new single, “Pussy Bill” is pretty much synonymous with Glitoris and, it’s as if I wrote this track. It’s my new anthem in the least.
